Delete a PivotTable

To delete a PivotTable in Excel, follow these simple steps:


✅ Method 1: Delete the Entire PivotTable

  1. Click anywhere inside the PivotTable to activate it.
  2. Press Ctrl + A to select the entire PivotTable.
    • Or move your cursor to the top-left of the PivotTable until it becomes a four-headed arrow, then click to select it.
  3. Press Delete on your keyboard.

✔️ The PivotTable is now removed from the worksheet.


✅ Method 2: Right-Click and Delete

  1. Right-click on the PivotTable.
  2. Choose SelectEntire PivotTable.
  3. Press Delete or right-click again and choose Clear Contents (then press Delete if needed).

⚠️ Note:

  • Deleting a PivotTable does not delete the source data or any associated PivotCache.
