Print a worksheet in landscape or portrait orientation
To print an Excel worksheet in landscape or portrait orientation, follow these simple steps:
✅ Change Page Orientation Before Printing
- Open your Excel file.
- Go to the Page Layout tab on the Ribbon.
- In the Page Setup group, click Orientation.
- Choose:
- Portrait – vertical layout (taller than wide)
- Landscape – horizontal layout (wider than tall)
- Done! Now when you print, Excel will use the selected orientation.
🖨️ Optional: Print Preview First
To check how it looks:
- Go to File → Print (or press Ctrl + P).
- On the right, you’ll see a preview with the current orientation.
- You can also change orientation here using the dropdown under Settings → Portrait Orientation / Landscape Orientation.
