Preview worksheet pages before you print

To preview worksheet pages before printing in Excel, follow these steps:


✅ How to Preview Before Printing:

  1. Open your Excel worksheet.
  2. Press Ctrl + P
    or
    Go to FilePrint
  3. The right side of the screen will show a Print Preview:
    • You can scroll through pages using the arrows at the bottom.
    • It shows how your data will appear on each printed page — including page breaks, margins, headers, and orientation.

🛠 Useful Adjustments in Print Preview:

  • Printer: Choose your printer at the top.
  • Orientation: Switch between Portrait and Landscape.
  • Margins: Click “Margins” → choose Normal, Wide, or Narrow, or customize.
  • Scaling Options (under “Settings”):
    • No Scaling – Default
    • Fit Sheet on One Page
    • Fit All Columns on One Page
    • Fit All Rows on One Page

🔁 To Exit Print Preview:

  • Click the back arrow in the top-left corner, or press Esc.
