Print rows with column headers on top of every page

To print column headers at the top of every page in Excel, use the “Print Titles” feature. Here’s how:

✅ Steps to Repeat Column Headers on Every Printed Page:

  1. Go to the worksheet you want to print.
  2. Click the Page Layout tab on the Ribbon.
  3. In the Page Setup group, click Print Titles.
  4. In the Page Setup dialog box:
    • Look for the section called “Rows to repeat at top”.
    • Click in that field, then select the row(s) with your column headers (usually Row 1).
      • Example: =$1:$1
  5. Click OK.

🖨️ Check It:

  • Press Ctrl + P to open Print Preview.
  • Scroll to page 2 or beyond — your header row should appear at the top of each page.

💡 Notes:

  • You can only repeat rows at the top (not columns at the side) using this method.
  • You must be in Normal or Page Break Preview view to access Print Titles (not in Page Layout View).
